10 injured in Habiganj clash

HABIGANJ, May 25 (UNB) : At least 10 people were injured in a clash between two groups of villagers over harvesting paddy from a disputed land at Madhabpur Upazila headquarters Tuesday morning.
Police and local people said there was a longstanding conflict between Abdul Malek and his cousin Farid Miah over the ownership of a piece of land.
An altercation ensued early in the morning when Malek along with his men went to cut paddy from the disputed land.
