10-member business team leaves for Libya

A 10-member business team leaves Dhaka for Libya today (Wednesday) with a view to taping business of manpower, garment and medicine.
Chief Executive Officer of Dhaka International Exhibition Company Limited (DIEC) and President of Global Economist Forum Enayet Karim is leading the team, said a press release.
The DIEC has arranged the visit.
During their week-long visit to Libya they will meet with different chamber of commerce and trade associations.
Last year Bangladesh signed an agreement with Libyan government to export 1.0 million skilled and semi-skill manpower to Libya.
As per the agreement, Libyan employers have already started recruiting Bangladeshi manpower in their enterprises, the release mentioned.
