10 \\\'smugglers\\\' held on Laugarh frontier

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel arrested 10 alleged smugglers while entering Indian territory through Laugarh border point in Tahirpur upazila in Sunamganj district on Tuesday afternoon. The arrestees could not be identified immediately. Lieutenant Colonel Golam Mohiuddin, commanding officer of Sunamganj BGB Battalion-8, said the alleged smugglers were detained when they were trying to intrude into India from Shahidabad of the border area around 4:30pm. Later, they were handed over to police. A case was filed in this connection, according to UNB.
