10 to die for Lakshmipur murder

A court in Lakshmipur has given death sentence to ten people for raping and killing a school girl. Prosecutor Jasim Uddin said that the Court of District and Sessions Judge Manjurul Basit gave the verdict in the 2012 murder case on Tuesday. Seventh grade student ‘Seema’ was raped and then strangled to death by a gang of miscreants, who had barged into her home in Dhuhita village in Lakshmipur district, according to a news agency.
