10 vessels fined Tk450,000 in Karnaphuli

A mobile court in Chittagong Port has fined 10 vessels in the estuary of Karnaphuli River for plying in the river without legal documents, Bay crossing permit and overloading. Authorised Officer of Chittagong Port and Executive Magistrate Mohammad Abul Hashem led the mobile court. During the drive, the mobile court realised Tk450,000 from the vessels. Port officials and security forces assisted the mobile court to conduct the drive at the estuary of Karnaphuli, according to a news agency.
