100 students fall sick after taking de-worming tablets

CHUADANGA, Apr 30 (UNB): Over 100 students of Shankerchandra Government Primary School under Sadar Upazila of the district fell sick after taking de-worming tablets Saturday. Among the sick students, 17 were rushed to Sadar Hospital while others were given treatment in different clinics. Golam Mostafa, an assistant teacher of the school, said health department officials asked them to feed de-worming tablets to 382 students at 10:30 am. After taking the tablets over 100 students fell sick within an hour, he said.
