100th birth anniv of Mirza Mehdy Ispahani observed

The 100th birth anniversary of Mirza Mehdy Ispahani was observed at Mirza Ahmed Ispahani High School in Chattogram on Sunday, says a statement.
He was the founder of Mirza Ahmed Ispahani High School, ex-chairman of MM Ispahani Limited and father of Mirza Salman Ispahani, a renowned industrialist, educationist and chairman of Ispahani group of companies.
Recitation from the holy Quran, milad, doa mahfil and a drawing competition were arranged on the school premises seeking divine peace for the departed soul, marking the day.
Nreepesh Baron Sen and Nahid Sultana Ria, assistant teachers of the school, discussed on the precious aspects of his life. Among the students, Manam Ahmed, Fabiha Tasnim Towshi and Tanisha Mirza also spoke.
Headteacher of the school presided over programme.
The programme came to an end with the distribution of food among the students.
