101development schemes implemented in Pirojpur

PIROJPUR, Aug 21 (UNB): Relief and Rehabilitation Department implemented 101 development schemes in the district using 712 tonnes rice.
The Department implemented the schemes under Rural Infrastructure Maintenance Programme.
Of the total schemes, eight were implemented in sadar upazila, six in Jianagar, 10 in Nazirpur, 14 in Bhandaria, six in Kaukhali, 20 in Mothbaria and 13 in Nesarabd upazila.
Besides, six schemes were implemented in Pirojpur pourashava, nine each in Mothbaria and Sarupokati pourashava.
The schemes included reconstruction of roads and embankments and earth filling.
