102 crude bombs recovered

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) recovered 102 crude bombs from Chowdhury Crossing (intersection) in Chapainawabganj town on early Monday. One of Rab-5 senior officers, wishing anonymity, said a team of the elite force conducted a drive at an old graveyard in the are around 9:30 pm and recovered the crude bombs in an abandoned condition. Miscreants hid the bombs to commit subversive activities in the town, a common place of bomb blasts in recent times, the officer added, according to UNB.
