105 policemen to get BPM, PPM this year

On the occasion of Police Week, a total of 105 police personnel will be awarded with the Bangladesh Police Medal (BPM) and President Police Medal (PPM) this year for their outstanding contributions. The home ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard on Monday. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will confer the BPM and PPM on the policemen at a ceremony at Rajabagh Police Lines in the capital tomorrow (Thursday). — UNB
