107-member business delegation off to NY

A 107-member business delegation left Dhaka for USA on Tuesday to accompany Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina during her upcoming New York tour. The business delegation, led by president of the Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) Abdul Matlub Ahmad, left for New York city by a flight of Emirates Airlines, said a press release. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to leave for New York on Wednesday to join the 70th General Assembly of the United Nations. Besides being a part of the Bangladesh delegation during the PM’s visit to New York, the 107-member business delegation will take part in the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU) and the Business Summit that will be organised by US-Bangladesh Global Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
