109 admin staff transferred to Judicial Deptt

BARISAL, Nov 12 (UNB): A total of 109 administrative staff have been transferred to the Judicial Department in five districts of Barisal division.
Barisal divisional commissioner office sources said administrative staffs of six districts under Barisal division were asked to express their willingness if they were interested to work in the just separated judicial department.
Later, about 150 administrative staff of the division expressed their consent to work with the judiciary department.
Of them, 56 administrative staff of Barisal, 14 of Pirojpur, 16 of Barguna, 21 of Patuakhali and two of Bhola districts have joined there.
In Jhalokati, 25 staff have expressed their willingness to join the judiciary but they are yet to join there due to manpower crisis in the district.
Jhalokati deputy commissioner Hari Proshad Pal said the staff could not be allowed to join the judiciary department as there are no excess staff at present.
