10th parliament goes into session Wednesday

The 10th parliament begins its journey Wednesday with its opening session amid BNP-led alliance’s plan to hold black-flag processions across the country in protest against it. President Abdul Hamid is scheduled to address the House on the first day of the first session of the new parliament scheduled to begin at 6pm. According to the Constitution, at the commencement of the first session after a general election of members of parliament and at the commencement of the first session of each year President shall address Parliament, according to a news agency.
