11 abducted fishermen rescued in Satkhira

Coast Guard personnel rescued 11 abducted fishermen at Masukhali in Shyamnagar upazila of Satkhira district on Tuesday. Lieutenant Commander Alauddin of Mongla West Zone Coast Guard said they were informed about abduction of a group of fishermen from the area in the morning. Later, the Coast Guard men conducted the drive and rescued the 11 fishermen around 4pm. They also recovered three abandoned firearms and 65 bullets from the spot, he said, according to UNB.
