11 idols vandalised in Gazipur temple

GAZIPUR: Miscreants vandalised 11 idols of Hindu gods and goddesses in a temple at Bataniachala in Kaliakoir upazila early Wednesday.
Suryamohon Sarkar, general secretary of Sarbojanin Puja Mandir, said a gang of unidentified miscreants swooped on the temple sometime at night and damaged some idols of Hindu gods and goddesses. The incident came to light early in the morning when the devotees went to the temple, according to a news agency.
