11 missing as trawler capsizes in Bay

A trawler (large motorised boat) capsized in Bay of Bengal off the coast of Barguna district early Monday. At least 11 fishermen went missing after the trawler went down in Meher Ali area in the Bay, some 110 kilometres south-west of Pathargata upazila of Barguna, a source close to the Barguna Trawler Owners Samity (BTOS) said. The 11 missing fishermen were not found till filing the report at 2:44pm on Monday, according to a news agency.
