12 held with arms at Geneva Camp

Joint forces have arrested 12 individuals, including Mahbub and Irfan, who are close associates of notorious drug trafficker Chua Selim, during an operation in the Geneva Camp of capital's Mohammadpur area on Friday, reports UNB.
A press release from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the operation was carried out by a combined team of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), police, and army personnel.
During the drive, the forces seized a range of weapons and drugs, including one revolver, eight rounds of ammunition, five machetes, and seven sharp-edged weapons.
The arrested individuals were later handed over to Mohammadpur Police Station, it added.
