12 KL-bound youths held

CHITTAGONG, May 2: Twelve youths were detained from a village in Banskhali upazila as they were ready to set out for Malaysia by boat without valid documents. The detained were identified as Rezaul Karim (18), Md Yunus (25), Hridoy (18), Sharafat Meah (18), Md Jahangir (18), Md Zaber (18), Saddam Hossain (18), Sumon Meah (18), Mohan Meah (18), Md Yusuf (20), Jahangir (18) and Esharob Hossain (19). Three of them are from Cox's Bazar, three from Habiganj, two from Khulna, two from Narsingdi, one from Narayanganj and one from Chittagong. Banskhali OC Swapan Majumder said that acting on a tip-off they arrested the youths.
