Members of Coast Guard and fisheries directorate in a joint drive seized 120 maumds jatka (hilsa fry) from three passengers launches in Dhaleswary river near Muktapur in Sadar Upazila of Munshiganj today (Monday).Coast Guard CPO Shafiul Islam said being tipped-off, they conducted the drive in the river and recovered the hilsa fries from three Dhaka-bound launches.Later, senior upazila fisheries official Marzina Begum sold the fries for Tk 0.2 million. -UNB
