120 stalls, 15 pavilions will display handsets, accessories

The five-day long second Dhaka International Mobile Phone Fair (DIMPF) 2007will begin December 10 to give further boost to the sector.
Organisers said this Saturday at a meet the press held at the conference room of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) in the city.
Bangladesh Mobile Phone Bebosayee Association (BMBA) is organising the fair and the Federation of the Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) is the co-organiser of the fair.
President Iazuddin Ahmed is likely to inaugurate the fair at the Bangladesh China Friendship Conference Centre.
The fair wil remain open from 9:30 am to 8:30 p.m during week days while it will remain open from 9:am to 10pm during weekends.
The entry fee for a visitor has been fixed at Tk 20.
Some 120 stalls and 15 pavilions will display different hand sets and other accessories in the fair.
Mobile phone operators, mobile phone set manufacturers, importers, educational institutions imparting telecommunications studies and other relevant organisations are expected participate in the fair, said organisers.

FBCCI president Mir Nasir Hossain, adviser to the BMBA Syed Margub Morshed and president of the BMBA Md Nizam Uddin Zitu were present at the press conference.
