124 sub-inspectors promoted

The government has elevated 124 police sub-inspectors (SI) to make them inspectors. A media statement from the Police Headquarters in Dhaka on Thursday announced the promotions. It said 106 unarmed and 18 armed SIs have been transferred to different districts after their promotions, according to a news agency.
