127,198 can perform Hajj in 2024

The Saudi government approved a quota of 1 27,198 people from Bangladesh to perform hajj for 2024.
Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Md Abdul Hamid Jamaddar said this during a meeting in the meeting room of the ministry on Wednesday morning.
However, Bangladesh received a same hajj quota for 2023.
Registration for hajj pilgrim will start on September 16, this year, he said.
Visa issuance will begin on March 1 next year and it will end on April 29
Hajj flight will begin from May 9, 2024, he said.
The hajj package will be announced after getting information on all the prices of Mina-Arafa- Muzdalifah from the Saudi government, he mentioned.
He called upon the hajj agencies and hajj management organisations to fulfill their responsibilities in order to organise the ritual properly.
