12th graduation ceremony of MIST held

The 12th Graduation Ceremony of Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) was held at Mirpur Hall of Mirpur Cantonment in the city Tuesday.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid attended the ceremony as the chief guest.
Chief of Army Staff General Iqbal Karim Bhuiyan, Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral M Farid Habib, Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Muhammad Enamul Bari, high civil and military officials, academicians, new graduates and their guardians were also present at the ceremony, according to a news agency.
Lieutenant Md Muzahidul Islam was awarded Osmani Memorial Gold medal by Education Minister for his best academic result. A total of 319 students (civil-215, military-102 and foreign-02) were conferred degrees at the ceremony.
Speaking at the function, Nahid urged the science and technology-based educational institutes to play a supportive role alongside the government’s endeavours in building Digital Bangladesh.
