13 BDR men admitted to city hospitals

A total of 13 members of Bangladesh Rifles (BDR), reportedly suffering from heart ailments, are now undergoing treatment in different city hospitals. Director General of BDR Major General Md Mainul Islam Saturday visited ailing Havilder Badrul Alam of 19 Rifles Battalion at the National Institute of Cardio Vascular Diseases Hospital. He also visited two more BDR patients -- Nayek Subedar Nazrul Islam of 23 Rifles Battalion and Havilder Ali Amzad of 36 Rifles Battalion -- at the hospital, said a BDR press release. — UNB
