13 dope men held in city

Detective Branch (DB) of police in separate raids arrested 13 members of dope (agyan) gangs from different parts of the capital on Wednesday.
The arrestees are: Ali Hossain, Sazzad Hossain,Manu Mia, Omar Faruk alias Kalu, Amir Hossain alias Tukon, Md Rony, Md Sohel, Badal Mia, Md Selim, Liton Mia, Md Babu, Kalam and Akbar, a BSS report said.
DB personnel also seized balm, pepper powder, sedative tablets and deep hit spray from their possession, said a DB official.
The arrestees confessed their link to dope gangs and said that they have involved in looting people using poisonous balm and seductive tablets, he also said.
Separate cases were lodged to this end.
