13 more Indian fishermen held from Bay

BAGERHAT, Sept 03 (UNB): Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard detained 13 Indian fishermen on Thursday evening as they intruded into the Bangladesh maritime territory for fishing.
A patrol vessel of Coast Guard spotted a foreign trawler 'Pita-Matar Ashir-bad' fishing illegally in Bangladesh's maritime boundary.
Sensing their presence, the fishermen tried to flee but the coast guard members detained them along with the trawler from the area, 17 nautical miles southwest of Mongla Fairway Buoy.
