13 shops fined Tk. 0.11m in Bagerhat

A mobile court in a special drive realised Tk 0.11 million as fines from 13 shops at Fakirhat Bazar in Bagerhat district on Thursday. The court realised the money from 13-shop for selling date expired medicines, formalin tainted fruits and adulterated sweetmeats. Executive magistrate Mustanzida Parveen told the reporters that the drives would continue against the unscrupulous businesses in the district considering the public health, according to a news agency.
