139 bottles of Phensidyl seized in Sylhet

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel in a drive seized 139 bottles of Phenosidyl from Boroitoli Road area in Jakiganj upazila of Sylhet district on Saturday. BGB officials said a team of BGB battalion-41 led by company commander Subedar Mohammad Abdul Hamid conducted drive in the area. Sensing the presence of border guards, members the drug smuggling gang fled the scene. Later, they recovered the smuggled goods and a CNG-run auto rickshaw worth TK 5,55,600, according to a news agency.
