13th death anniversary of SM Sultan observed

NARAIL, Oct 10 (BSS): The 13th death anniversary of noted artist SM Sultan was observed today in a befitting manner.
The SM Sultan Foundation and the district administration chalked out an elaborate programme to observe the day.
As part of the programme, the SM Sultan Foundation and the district administration, Narail Press Club, Chitra Theatre and other social and cultural organisations placed wreaths at the mazar of SM Sultan and offered fateha there.
Milad mahfil, Quran khwani and painting competition for children were held at Shishu Swargo in the morning. A total of 131 children took part in the painting competition.
Later, the children, who participated in the competition, and the Deputy Commissioner of Narail Mohammad Abdul Qaium Sarder enjoyed journey by boat in the Chitra river.
