14 export items to get subsidies

Like the outgoing financial year, 14 exportable commodities would get cash incentives from the government this year. In most cases, the rate of incentive is also the same. This year, only textiles making forays into new markets and frozen shrimp would get enhanced cash incentive. In other sectors, the subsidies remained the same. Bangladesh Bank has issued a circular asking all banks to disburse the cash assistance. The circular says, like past years, the government has decided to follow the policy of subsidy or cash incentive to encourage the export sector, according to a news agency.
