The ruling Awami League (AL)-led 14-party alliance decided Friday to send a delegation to the troubled torn Gaza in Palestine to convey sympathy to the family members of the victims of Israeli attacks during the last few days, reports BSS.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the alliance at the political office of AL president and Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina at Dhanmondi in the city.
Emerging from the meeting, spokesperson of the 14-party alliance Mohammad Nasim told journalists that the ministry of foreign affairs has been asked to take necessary measures to this end.
Nasim said the attacks on the innocent Palestinians in Gaza can be dubbed as the most barbaric atrocities in human history. Such attacks must be stopped for the sake of humanity, he added.
In this connection, he urged the world community to raise their voice against the Israeli attacks in Gaza in which dozens of Palestinians, including women and children, are being killed every day.
