148th branch of NBL opens

The 148th Branch of National Bank Limited has been inaugurated at Patuakhali recently. Md. Badiul Alam, Additional Managing Director of the bank formally inaugurated the branch as chief guest. A discussion meeting was held on the occasion.
Md. Badiul Alam in his inaugural speech said that NBL will put remarkable contribution in the business development of Patuakhali area like other Branches of National Bank Ltd. Mohammad Mahmudul Haque, Senior Vice President & regional head of Khulna presided over the meeting.
Among others, Md Mominul Hoque, Sr. Asstt. Vice President & manager of Barishal branch, Advocate Sultan Ahmed, Upazilla Chairman, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman Mridha, City Mayor, Abdur Rashid Chunnu Mia, businessman, President of press Club & President of Patuakhali Chambers of Commerce spoke on the opening ceremony.
A K M Shafiqur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director & Company Secretary delivered his welcome addresses.
