1.4kg gold held at Shahjalal airport

Customs officials on Tuesday arrested a youth with 1.40 kg gold, including a bar and ornaments, from the Canopy-2 of Hazrat Shahjalal (R) International Airport in the capital.
"Customs officials and members of Armed Police Battalion (APBn) detained Mahbubur Rahman, 36, a passenger of a flight MH-112 of Malaysia Airlines, who flew in here at 12:30 am with one gold bar weighing 116 grams," ABPn ASP Tanjila Akhter told BSS.
A case was filed with Bimanbandar Police Station to this end.
