15 branches to be opened this year

Pubali Bank Limited held its Annual Managers' Conference-2008 at Seagull Hotel in Cox's Bazar recently.
The conference was aimed to motivate the executives to increase the bank's business by rendering better services.
All 371 branch managers, regional managers and senior executives of head office took part in the two-day conference.
Pubali Bank Chairman Hafiz Ahmed Mazumder MP attended the conference as chief guest and Managing Director Helal Ahmed Chowdhury presided over the programme.
Directors Sheikh Wahidur Rahman, Giasuddin Ahmed, Monzurur Rahman, Syed Moazzem Hussain, Ahmed Shafi Chowdhury, Habibur Rahman, Fahim Ahmed Faruk Chowdhury, Mohammad Yakub, M Faizur Rahman and Mostafa Shahriar Ahmed also attended the ceremony.
Chief guest Hafiz Ahmed Majumder rewarded 53 best managers in the conference for their better performance.
The managing director said that Pubali Bank would open 15 new branches in this year, which has already received Bangladesh Bank permission. Among 15 branches two would be opened in Dhaka city, three branches in other cities and the rest ten branches would be opened in rural areas.
This year is the 50th anniversary of Pubali Bank.
