15-day drama festival to be launched Dec 1

Mohakal Natyo Samproday is organizing a 15-day long drama festival in the capital to mark the 40th anniversary of the Victory Day of Bangladesh from December 1, reports BSS. Information and Cultural Affairs Minister Abul Kalam Azad is expected to inaugurate the festival to be held at National Theatre Hall of Shilpakala Academy. The 100th show of 'Ghum Nei' -- a drama, made with the memories of the War of Liberation and Nishimon-Bisarjon by Mohakal Natyo Samproday, will be staged in the festival. Eight theatre groups from Dhaka and two from Kolkata (Anik and Tripura) will also join the festival. 'Ghum Nei' will be staged from December 1 to December 6 at National Theatre Hall, Experimental Theatre Hall and Studio Theatre Hall.
