15 hurt in AL-BNP clash in Jamalpur

At least 15 people, including two ansar members, were injured a clash between the supporters of Awami League and BNP at Char Rouha Bazar in Sharishabari upazila in Jamalpur on Friday. Police said an altercation ensued between the supporters of Awami League and BNP at a cultural function marking Amar Ekushey in the evening. At one stage, a chase and counter- chase took place, trigging a clash that left 15 people injured. The injured were rushed to different hospitals and clinics. At least 7-8 shops were vndalised during the incident, according to UNB.
