15 injured as BCL factions clash at Kishoreganj

KISHOREGANJ Oct 16 (UNB): Fifteen people, including seven with bullets, were injured in a clash between two factions of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) over forming new district BCL committee in the Station Road area of the district town Wednesday night.
Witnesses said, the clash took place between the dissident BCL group and the newly formed committee members in front of the district Awami League (AL) office around 9 pm following an altercation where 15-20 rounds of gunshots were also exchanged, leaving seven BCL activists bullet-injured.
Being informed, police and RAB members rushed to the spot and controlled the situation.
