15 school students, driver injured in bus plunge

At least 15 students of a school and a bus driver were injured as a picnic bus plunged into a ditch at Kashempur under Kumarkhali upazila in Kushtia district on Saturday evening. Police and locals said the bus carrying 37 students of Bagharpara Pilot High School of Jessore fell into a roadside ditch when its driver lost control over the steering while moving towards Shelaidaha area in Kushtia for picnic. The accident left over 15 students and the bus driver injured. The injured were admitted to Kushtia General Hospital and Kumarkhali Health Complex, according to UNB.
