15 sued over city triple murder

A case has been filed against 15 people, including Kailla Babu and Rony, in connection with Thursday’s triple murder in the city’s Moghbazar. Kalachand, brother of one of the deceased Brishti, filed the case with Ramna Police Station on Friday night. Some miscreants gunned down three people, including a woman, and injured another person in a house following rivalry with the local land grabbers and extortionists at Sonalibagh in the Moghbazar on Thursday night. The deceased were identified as Ranu Akhter Brishti, 28, wife of Mohammad Abul Hossain, her younger brother Hridoy’s friends – Munna, 20, and Billal Hossain, 25. Hridoy also sustained bullet injuries and he has been fighting for life at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, according to UNB.
