1,500 Yaba tabs seized in Ctg, 3 held

CHITTAGONG, Apr 5 (UNB): Police arrested three people, including two women, along with 1,500 pieces of contraband Yaba tablets in Chamrar Gudam area under Kotwali Police Station in the city Saturday.
The arrestees were identified as Dilara Begum (23), Laila Begum (30), and Md Ismail, (25). The arrestees are residents of a Rohingya camp of Teknaf Upazila in Cox's Bazar.
Sub-inspector Kazi Masud Ibne Anwar of Kotwali PS said being tipped-off, a team of police conducted a drive in the area and arrested the trio along with the Yaba tablets.
The arrestees came from Teknaf Friday night for selling Yaba tablets in the city, he added.
