155 arrested in Chittagong

Chittagong district police in special drives arrested 155 people from different upazilas of the south-eastern district from Monday evening to early Tuesday. Additional Superintendent of Police (Special Branch) of Chittagong Mohammad Naimul Hasan said, among the arrestees, 23 were accused in regular cases while 122 others were warranted in different cases.
Police said during the overnight drives they recovered a double barrel gun and two cartridges from Satkania Upazila and 2400 pieces of Yaba tablets and 79 litres of wine from Chandanaish and Lohagara upazila, according to a news agency.
