155 victims return from Myanmar

COX'S BAZAR, July 22: A total of 155 Bangladeshi trafficking victims who were rescued by Myanmar authorities on May 29 were brought back home from the neighbouring country on Wednesday, after a flag meeting between their border guards. The flag meeting was held between Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Myanmar's Border Guard Police (BGP) at the Ghundum border point near the main pillar no. 30 along the Bangladesh-Myanmar Moitri Bridge around 10:30 am, said Tofail Ahmed, additional superintendent of Cox's Bazar police. — UNB
