1570 hectares of land put under potato cultivation in Chuadanga

CHUADANGA, Dec 28 (BSS): The potato cultivation in Chuadanga during this current Rabi season has exceeded its target.
During this season, potato has been cultivated on 1570 hectares of land in all the four upazilas of the district including Chuadanga Sadar, Alamdanga, Damurhuda and Jibannagar as against the target of 1335 hectares.
Chuadanga District Agriculture Extension Department Office source said of the total land of 690 hectares have been brought under cultivation in Chuadanga Sadar Upazila, 200 hectares in Alamdanga, 280 in Damurhuda and 480 hectares in Jibannagar Upazila.
