15th AGM of Hicare held

The 15th annual general meeting (AGM) of Hicare (Society for Education and Care of Hearing Impaired Children) was held at its head office at Dhanmondi in the city Saturday, said a press release. Vice-chairman of the society Faizur Rahman Chaudhury presided over the meeting because of illness of the Chairman Manzoor Ul Karim. Bangladesh Jute Spinners' Association and Director of Shams Group Chairman Muhammad Shams-uz Zoha and Prof Anowar Hossain, newly elected chairman of Hicare and vice-chancellor of Presidency University were present in the meeting. Secretary General of Hicare Ashfaque Ahmed Khan presented the annual report while Treasurer Tofazzal Hussain Bhuiyan presented the annual audit report.
