16 more die in flood-hit areas

Sixteen more deaths were reported in flood-related incidents like drowning, snakebites and waterborne diseases in the last 24 hours until Wednesday, reports UNB.
According to Health Department, the death toll climbed sharply to 970 during the period from 954 in the affected areas with the recession of floodwaters.
