16,000 school teachers to be recruited

The government is going to appoint 16,000 primary school teachers in all districts barring the three in the Chittagong Hill Tracts. The primary and mass education ministry released a circular making the announcement on Wednesday. It says aspirants have to apply online at http://dpe.teletalk.com.bd and www.dpe.gov.bd between Dec 13 and Jan 12. The application fee has to be paid through mobile phones services provided by Teletalk. According to a ministry press release, the appointment comes under the government’s 3rd Primary Education Development Programme. Teachers will be recruited for primary schools of all the districts except the hill tract districts of Rangamati, Khagrhachharhi and Bandarban, according to bdnews24.com
