17 BCL men held over SUST violence

SYLHET, Nov 21: Police arrested seventeen activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) in connection with Thursday's factional clash at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST). Akhtar Hossain, officer-in-charge of Jalalabad Police Station, said a team of police and detectives conducted separate drives in different areas in the city including Kuarper and Pathantula and arrested the 17 BCL men Thursday night. —UNB
