17 bombs recovered in city

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) personnel recovered nine petrol bombs and eight crude bombs from a house at Mohammadur in the city on Thursday night. Additional Superintendent of Police Raihan Uddin of Rab-2 said being tipped-off, a team of Rab-2 conducted a drive in a house located inside Geneva Camp of Mohammadpur around 10:15pm and recovered the bombs in an abandon condition. However, the inmates of the house who might have kept the bombs there after receiving the same from criminals, managed to flee the scene after sensing the presence of Rab, he informed, according to UNB.
