17 cobras seized in Keraniganj

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) members in a drive arrested a man along with 17 cobras at Ghakar Char Lake City Housing Project here on Tuesday morning.
The arrestee could not be identified immediately.
Tipped off, a team of Rab-2 conducted the drive in the area around 10am and seized the venomous snakes, said officer-in-charge of Keraniganj Model Police Station Mujibur Rahman.
The cobras along with the arrestee were taken to the Rab-2 office, he said.
