17 members of doper gang held in Dhaka

Detective Branch (DB) personnel in separate drives arrested 17 alleged members of a doper gang from different parts of Dhaka city in 24 hours till Sunday morning. Identity of the arrestees could not be known immediately. Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) deputy commissioner (media) Muntasirul Islam said the law enforcers conducted separate drives in different areas of the city in the last 24 hours till 6:00 am on Sunday and arrested the 17 doper gang members. The law enforcers also recovered huge sedative tablets and other items needed for their criminal activities from their possession. Details of the drive will be available later, he added, according to a news agency.
